We are very excited to have booked Little Fishes for our Saturday Sessions during Sandwich prestigious Folk and Ale Festival. Little Fishes is an Americana strings band that blends Bluegrass with Modern styles. They’ve decided to call it “Ryegrass” because they can and because of course, they are pioneers of a sound that lives in a world apart from the pure forms of the genres upon which it may draw. A unique group with three way vocal harmonies, Mandolin, Double Bass, Banjo and Guitar.

He’s back from his world tour at last! Tom Abrahams is an outstanding guitarist. Imagine yourself sitting in a 1930s Paris bar listening to Django Reinhardt? Expect original Jazz and Gypsy Jazz classics, as well as some brilliantly crafted contemporary pop covers done in a Gypsy Jazz style.

Alex and Sarah have been playing the local circuit, on and off for 9 years. With a huge repertoire of songs we can cater for most requirements, including on the spot requests/jams.
They love reworking dance tracks, and introducing looping to add interest in their sets. Their influences are: Ed Sheeran, Damien Rice, Kings of leon, Gaga, Coldplay, U2, Tracey Chapman, Rihanna and DJ Fresh.
Tuesday Sessions – Jonny Hepbir

In the UK, Jonny is regarded as one of the few authentic players on the British Gypsy jazz scene. His background has seen years of experience playing amongst some of the top Gypsy guitarists in the world including Bireli Lagrene, Lulu Reinhardt, Stochelo Rosenberg, Paulus Schafer, Feigeli Prisor and jazz guitarists Mundel Lowe, Martin Taylor and John Etheridge amongst others.
In 2002 Jonny signed a record deal with USA label ‘Refined Records’ and released an album of originals called ‘Turkish Blend’ featuring renowned guitarist Robin Nolan. In 2004, GUITAR magazine referred to Jonny as ‘..the English virtuoso’ .
Over the last 25 years Jonny has played throughout the UK and abroad, including private performances for Sir Paul McCartney, Roman Abramovich, Sir Terence Conran, Paul Merton and Kool & The Gang. Other recent hi-profile appearances include the Django Reinhardt Festival Samois Sur Seine in France 2013, Birmingham International Jazz and Blues Festival 2013 and The Love Supreme Jazz Festival in Sussex 2015.
Audiences can expect to hear a vibrant mix of Gypsy swing, cool jazz and funky latin.
Sunday Sessions – Syroon and Paul

Syroon and Paul are a piano/vocal duo from Thanet. They perform songs by artistes as varied as David Bowie, Nina Simone, Madonna, ELO and Nat ‘King’ Cole to name just a few. Syroon’s versatile and evocative vocals and Paul’s melodic piano accompaniment create a stylish and enjoyable musical evening, with a mixture of instantly recognisable songs as well as some that you may have forgotten that you knew and loved!

Richard Rozze – Guitars
Richard can be seen performing in a variety of contexts on the jazz and pop scene and has earned a reputation as a creative and flexible musician. Richard fronts the Richard Rozze Group featuring Paul Booth, Malcolm Edmonstone, Dave Whitford and Andrew Bain. Their debut album ‘Learning To Fly‘ is out now on Pathway Records.Richard has worked alongside musicians of many genres including, Paul Booth (saxophone) Brian Hanlon (singer/ songwriter) Dana Gillespie (vocals), Jeremy Peynton Jones (composer), Derek Nash (saxophone) Trevor Tomkins (drums), John Horler (piano).
”Richard Rozze is an artist who has successfully forged a unique approach to his playing and compositions. He glides effortlessly through multi-genre worlds, his solos flawlessly committed to his surroundings.
